Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Basable. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not use the Service to deploy, host, or distribute:
- Malware, viruses, ransomware, or any malicious software.
- Phishing pages or fraudulent content designed to deceive users.
- Content that violates applicable laws, including but not limited to child exploitation material, content promoting terrorism, or content facilitating illegal drug trade.
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights of others.
- Spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or scraping tools targeting third-party services.
2. Prohibited Actions
You may not:
- Use the Service for cryptocurrency mining or proof-of-work computation.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile any part of the Service.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service.
- Consume excessive compute, storage, or network resources in a way that degrades the Service for other users.
- Use the Service to attack, scan, or probe third-party systems without authorization.
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission.
- Attempt to access other users' data, deployments, or accounts.
3. Resource Limits
Each deployment is subject to compute, memory, and storage limits as defined by your plan. Deployments that consistently exceed their allocated resources may be throttled or suspended. We reserve the right to set and enforce fair-use limits to ensure service quality for all users.
4. Enforcement
We may take any of the following actions in response to violations of this policy:
- Issue a warning and request remediation.
- Temporarily suspend your account or specific deployments.
- Permanently terminate your account.
- Report illegal activity to law enforcement authorities.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking enforcement action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the Service or comply with law.
5. Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of any violation of this policy, please report it to abuse@basable.com. We investigate all reports and will take appropriate action.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
